Description
Complementing the theme of local crafts, this stamp specifically illustrates the “clay dolls” of Sejnane, traditional figurines which testify to the fertile imagination of the region’s artisans. These naive sculptures, often representing people or animals, are the reflection of a spontaneous artistic expression which links the useful to the decorative. Through this program, Tunisia celebrates its Berber identity and the intergenerational transmission of open-air cooking techniques. It is a tribute to a creative economy driven by women, which transforms local land into globally recognized objects of art.
