This stamp is part of the international campaign “Venice for UNESCO”, intended to raise awareness about saving the city of Venice threatened by water, by featuring a symbolic figure advancing on the lagoon using a long pole. The illustration evokes both the fragility of the city, human adaptation to the aquatic environment and the constant effort necessary to preserve an exceptional heritage. The movement, the waves and the stylized boat reflect the permanent struggle between man and nature, but also the cultural ingenuity born from this relationship. Through this broadcast, Tunisia affirms its attachment to the protection of world heritage and its adherence to the values ​​of UNESCO, emphasizing that the safeguarding of great civilizations and historic cities concerns the entire international community.
